RECKONING WITH HISTORY: A CRITICAL DISCUSSION ON THE REPARATIONS DEBATE

The reparations movement has gained significant momentum, with notable developments such as the relatively recent launch of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Afrikan Reparations.

The Equiano Project is bringing together leading economists, historians, journalists, campaigners, politicians, and other key figures to discuss the debate on reparations and its associated challenges.

With opening remarks from Lord (Tony) Sewell, speakers include Professor Robert Tombs, Rasheed Griffith, Tiffany Jenkins, and Professor Alan Lester, chaired by the director of The Equiano Project, Inaya Folarin Iman.

Tuesday, 8th October, from 3.30pm - 5pm (BST) in Westminster, London.
